  27. I suspect that the initial screen draw is occuring with codes for a
  28. particular terminal type, which isn't handled during scripting command
  29. mode.  Before you do the ctrl-W, you have probably gone to "connect"
  30. mode, where terminal emulation is available.

  32. I don't believe there is any terminal emulation available in scripting
  33. mode.  Perhaps you could add an output of the ctrl-w near the end of your
  34. login script, causing the redraw, at the time you connect to a terminal
  35. screen...  
  36. The junk would still be there, but you wouldn't have to watch ;-)
